Description
The GW346C is a 4mm wide copper-clad Borazon (CBN) grinding wheel for moulder knife profiling on the Weinig Rondamat platform — the widest Borazon wheel in the GW345C series, suited to broader profile curves and applications where coverage per pass matters. The 2mm radius on the wheel face provides a defined curved contact geometry for following concave profile elements, and the 4mm width removes more material per pass than the 1mm or 2mm alternatives, reducing the number of passes needed on wide profile sections. 8mm Borazon depth provides extended wheel life through multiple dressing cycles — a meaningful advantage in production grinding environments where wheel cost and replacement time are significant. At 120 grit, GW346C delivers consistent stock removal on HSS moulder steel without excessive heat. Copper clad bond holds CBN abrasive securely under the grinding loads of Weinig Rondamat profiling passes. For narrow precision profiling, see GW345C (1mm) or GW343C (2mm).
