Description
The GW344C is a copper-clad Borazon (CBN) grinding wheel for HSS moulder knife profiling on the Weinig Rondamat platform — same diameter, width, bore, and grit as GW343C but with a square (flat) face profile rather than a radius face. The square face grinds flat, vertical, and horizontal surfaces in the knife profile — straight flats, rabbet shoulders, and transitions between curved sections. In complex profile grinding, the square face wheel and radius face wheel are often used in sequence: rough out flat and straight sections with the square wheel, then blend curves with the radius wheel. Borazon/CBN super-abrasive delivers significantly longer service life and better profile retention than conventional vitrified aluminum oxide on HSS moulder steel — reducing wheel replacement frequency in production grinding environments. 120 grit provides the stock removal rate appropriate for profiling passes. Compatible with Weinig Rondamat 930, 934, 950, and 960.
