The MH449M is a 4-13/16 in. OD, 9 in. cut length, 40mm bore, 4-pocket corrugated back moulder head with 15° hook — the maximum CEL in the MH44x metric 4-pocket standard series. The 9 in. CEL at 4-pocket on a 40mm-spindle industrial moulder covers the widest profiles available in this European-specification head configuration: maximum-height architectural panels and the largest built-up decorative millwork assemblies that can be produced in a single pass on heavy European wide-bed industrial equipment. Four-pocket cutting at 9 in. CEL delivers better surface finish than a 2-pocket head at equivalent CEL, providing a quality advantage that justifies the complexity of operating the maximum-mass configuration. All safety requirements — knife matching, balance verification, safe speed confirmation, appropriate machine guarding — are mandatory before use. The MH449 (1-1/2 in. bore) is the North American inch-bore equivalent. Knives sold separately.
