The MH4492M is a 4-13/16 in. OD, 9 in. cut length, 40mm bore, 2-pocket corrugated back moulder head with 15° hook — the maximum CEL option in the MH44xx metric 2-pocket series. The 9 in. knife seat provides the widest single-pass coverage available in this series on European 40mm spindle wide-bed moulding equipment: extra-tall panel profiles, maximum-height decorative assemblies, and industrial architectural millwork where no smaller CEL option can eliminate the need for multiple overlapping passes. At 9 in. CEL, knife mass and projection are at their maximum — matched knife sets, precision weight balancing, confirmed head balance, and verified maximum safe operating speed are non-negotiable requirements before use. The 40mm bore requires proper fit verification on the actual spindle before mounting. The 15° hook maintains hardwood surface quality at maximum knife projection.
