Description

The MH202P6 is a 4 in. OD, 2 in. cut length, 1-1/4 in. bore, 2-pocket corrugated back knife head with 20° hook angle. Corrugated back seat pockets lock straight-back profile knives by meshing corrugations, preventing knife movement under the cutting forces of continuous production moulding runs. The 2 in. knife seat covers small casing and base moulding profiles, chair rail starter profiles, and furniture edge profiles where the total profile height falls at or below 2 in. The 20° hook provides efficient chip clearance for softwood and mixed-species production moulding. The 4 in. OD and 1-1/4 in. bore are standard dimensions for production shapers and moulder spindles in North American millwork shops. In the MH20xP6 2-pocket series, the MH202P6 is suited to profiles that exceed the 1 in. MH201P6 but do not require the deeper knife seats of the MH203P6 or taller. Profile knives are sold separately; confirm knife CEL and corrugated back profile match the MH202P6 seat.
