Description
The FB-CDIC-510-3pc cuts a centered groove for flat-panel door construction — a groove machined into the center of stile and rail faces to receive a flat panel without a decorative edge profile. This approach is common in Shaker, contemporary, and slab-adjacent door designs where a clean, minimal frame is the design intent. Profile 510 delivers this groove through a 3-piece Dedicated insert cutter set at standard depth of pattern; the Dedicated head bodies accept only profile 510 inserts for consistent, repeatable production. The center-groove system differs from the cope-and-profile CDIC sets in that there’s no decorative stile edge — the groove cuts a slot that the panel slips into, producing a flat-faced frame member. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ door stock. Profile 535 is the alternate center-groove geometry for a different groove width or position. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available.
