The FB-CDIC-070-3pc runs Freeborn’s profile 070 cove — one of four distinct cove radii in the CDIC line — through a 3-piece Multi-Profile insert system with full cope-depth adjustability. Profile 070 covers door designs requiring a specific arc not matched by profiles 020, 030, or 040; confirm the profile number against Freeborn’s profile sheet or your door design drawings when ordering. The shimmed cope head allows independent fine-tuning of cope depth, closing the joint cleanly regardless of material thickness variation between batches or mixed species in the same production run. Multi-Profile body hardware carries across multiple CDIC insert profiles, so the same heads remain in service as door program requirements change. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ material, standard depth of pattern. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available. For consistent-thickness runs, the 2-piece FB-CDIC-070-2pc is the simpler option.
