Description

The FB-CDIC-050-3pc runs Freeborn’s profile 050 bevel — a clean angled chamfer on stile faces — through a 3-piece Multi-Profile insert system with cope-depth adjustment. The shimmed cope head allows operators to fine-tune the cope cut depth independently from the stile profile, keeping the joint closed cleanly across material thickness variation between runs or mixed species batches. Multi-Profile bodies can be fitted with other CDIC insert profiles, so the head hardware investment carries value across multiple door styles as production programs evolve. Profile 050 is the Multi-Profile bevel in Freeborn’s standard-depth range; dedicated-head bevels 055 and 060 are also available for single-profile production environments. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ door stock, standard depth of pattern. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available. For consistent-thickness stock where shimmed adjustment isn’t needed, the 2-piece FB-CDIC-050-2pc is the simpler choice.
