Description

The FB-CDIC-020-3pc runs the profile 020 cove door edge through Freeborn’s 3-piece Multi-Profile insert system with full cope-depth adjustability. The concave arc cove on the stile face is met by a precision cope cut on rail ends; the shimmed third head lets operators tune that cope depth independently to close the joint cleanly regardless of minor material thickness variation between runs or between hardwood and softwood batches. Multi-Profile body hardware can also be fitted with other profile inserts from Freeborn’s CDIC line, so the heads remain in service across multiple door styles as production programs change. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ material, standard depth of pattern. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available. For consistent-thickness stock where shimmed cope adjustment isn’t needed, the 2-piece FB-CDIC-020-2pc is the simpler choice.
