The SCH-QC-TER-463mm-D is a 463mm Schmidt Terminus double-sided reversible quick-change planer knife for industrial machines with 463mm Terminus heads. The 463mm dimension is closely related to the 457mm variant and serves large-format industrial planer and moulder configurations at slightly wider machine capacity — both dimensions serve the wide industrial planing category in North American and international industrial equipment. Terminus tool-free knife change and double-sided reversible design deliver the same production advantages at 463mm as at smaller sizes: rapid changeover without calibration, two usable cutting edges per knife, no regrinding required. Available in 18% Tungsten T1 HSS steel for softwood industrial production or carbide for maximum edge retention in hardwood and abrasive material production at this knife width.
