Description

The MH4462M is a 4-13/16 in. OD, 6 in. cut length, 40mm bore, 2-pocket corrugated back moulder head with 15° hook — the metric bore equivalent of the MH4462 for European 40mm spindle production moulders. The 6 in. knife seat covers tall architectural profiles on metric-spindle equipment: large crown returns, full-height decorative millwork, and entablature profiles where the 5 in. MH4452M is insufficient. The 40mm bore provides proper head fit on European moulder equipment, eliminating the runout that results from using an incorrectly-bored head. The 15° hook delivers hardwood surface quality on the dense-species moulding profiles common in European cabinet and furniture production. At 6 in. CEL, knife weight matching and head balance verification are mandatory before operation. The MH4462 is the 1-1/2 in. inch-bore version. Confirm the moulder spindle is nominally 40mm and verify actual bore tolerance against the head before ordering. Knives sold separately.
