Description

The MH461 is a 137mm OD, 50mm cut length, 1-13/16 in. bore, 4-pocket corrugated back knife head with 22° hook angle for metric-specification industrial production moulders. The 137mm OD is a European metric moulder head standard used in wide-bed industrial moulding machinery; the 1-13/16 in. bore corresponds to a specific spindle standard found on this equipment category. The 22° hook angle is more aggressive than the 15° on the MH44xx series — providing better chip clearance in demanding moulding passes — while remaining suitable for the mix of softwood and dense hardwood profiles common in European architectural production. The 50mm (approximately 2 in.) knife seat handles narrow to light-medium profiles: small bead, step, and decorative detail moulding where full profile height falls within 50mm. Four-pocket construction improves surface finish and feed rate compared to 2-pocket alternatives. The MH4612 is the 2-pocket equivalent. The MH462 provides 100mm CEL for taller profiles.
