4-1/2 in. Insert Rail Head, 3-Wing, 1-1/4 in. Bore — Cabinet Door Stile & Rail

Description

Cuts the cope (rail-end) profile on kitchen cabinet door frames as one of the two universal bodies in Schmidt’s insert stile-and-rail system. A single ID200R rail head and ID200S stile head accept any of the six interchangeable carbide insert profiles (ISR10–ISR60), so one pair of bodies covers the full profile range without backer plates. Machined to 4-1/2 in. diameter with a 3-1/2 in. minor and a 1-1/4 in. bore, it runs three wings in counter-clockwise rotation with the wood face down. All inserts index to a common center line for repeatable setup, and the 25° cope angle shears end grain cleanly. Sold as the body only — 30mm carbide inserts are ordered separately by profile. Also available in 4 in. diameter (3 in. minor) on request.
