125mm x 50mm Stackable Surfacing Head, 1-1/2 in. Bore

Description

The IS1255A is a 125mm OD, 50mm wide stackable surfacing head with 1-1/2 in. bore — the inch-bore version of the IS1255 for production shapers and wide-table surfacing machines equipped with 1-1/2 in. spindles rather than metric 40mm spindles. The 1-1/2 in. bore fits the larger production shaper spindles common in North American manufacturing equipment, making the IS1255A the appropriate choice when the metric IS1255 (40mm bore) does not fit the available spindle. The 125mm OD and 50mm width are identical to the IS1255, allowing IS1255A heads to be stacked together for the same range of composite working widths. Multiple IS1255A heads (or combined with IS1255B for 1-13/16 in. bore) can be ganged on the spindle to build the required total surfacing width. IS1265 gibs are the replacement clamping components for 50mm IS125x heads. Confirm bore specification against the spindle before ordering.
