Description

The IS58125 is a 125mm diameter rebating cutter with 50mm body width and 1-1/4 in. bore — the largest diameter in the IS58-series rebating head line. The 125mm OD delivers the greatest depth-of-cut in the IS58 series, producing deep rabbets and stepped shoulder profiles required for heavy-duty glazing rebates in thick exterior window frames, deep door panel grooves, and structural millwork applications where smaller-diameter rebating heads cannot reach the required depth. The 50mm body width follows the standard European spindle moulder dimension, allowing IS58125 heads to be stacked with IS58085 or IS58100 heads for compound rebate profiles on the same spindle run. At 1-1/4 in. bore, the IS58125 fits standard production shaper spindles. IS58-series heads use IS58201 gibs (Gib-80) for insert clamping. Set spindle speed appropriately for a 125mm diameter head — the surface speed at 125mm OD is higher than at 85 or 100mm OD at the same RPM.
