Description

The IG662 is a 160mm diameter adjustable groover with 1-1/4 in. bore that cuts variable-width grooves from 8mm to 15mm without a tool change. The 8mm-15mm range covers mid-range groove work — door panel grooves for standard 3/8 in. to 1/2 in. panel stock, drawer bottom grooves, spline slots for flat-panel glue-ups, and track grooves for hardware in cabinet and furniture production. Variable groove width in a single adjustable head eliminates the need to stock multiple fixed-width groove cutters across this width range, reducing tool inventory and changeover time in shops with variable product specifications. At 160mm diameter and 1-1/4 in. bore, the IG662 fits standard production shaper spindles. The adjustment mechanism positions the cutter elements to the target width and locks for the production run.
