Profile 013 rounds out Freeborn’s RPIC roundover family with a fifth distinct arc geometry alongside profiles 001, 002, 003, and 004. As with all roundover RPIC cutters, the profile 013 cuts a convex arc transition from the raised panel field to the flat border — the specific arc radius covering door design specifications not matched by the other four roundover profiles in the lineup. Freeborn’s profile numbering coordinates RPIC panel profiles with CDIC door frame sets under matching numbers, simplifying the specification of complete door programs across both series. Running on a 1-1/4″ Pro-Line spindle at 6″ diameter, fed face up (CCW), with an AP-90-048 rub bearing. The insert system supports carbide or T-Alloy tip replacement independent of the head body, extending head life in production panel runs.
