Profile 002 is a distinct roundover radius in Freeborn’s RPIC series for shaping the raised center panel of cabinet doors — a different arc geometry from profile 001, 003, 004, and 013 within the roundover family. The roundover creates a convex arc transition from the panel field down to the flat border, with the arc depth and width varying by profile number to coordinate with different door frame designs and aesthetic specifications. Running on a 1-1/4″ Pro-Line spindle at 6″ diameter, fed face up (CCW), with an AP-90-048 rub bearing setting cut depth at the panel border. The insert cutter design allows carbide or T-Alloy tips to be replaced without retiring the head body, making this a cost-effective choice for high-volume panel production.
