Moving into the larger half of the Pro-Line collar lineup, the 3-1/2″ outside diameter suits raised panel cutters and deeper door-edge profiles where smaller collar ODs would crowd the cut zone. As cutter profiles widen, the collar OD must increase proportionally to keep the guide face running clear. This collar handles that geometry on the 1-1/4″ spindle, allowing the cutter to complete the full profile without the collar’s running face entering the cut area. Sealed ball-bearing construction holds up at Pro-Line shaper speeds through extended production runs on large-profile tooling. Freeborn’s close bore machining delivers consistent fit and low runout on the 1-1/4″ spindle. Size up to this collar from the 3-1/4″ when a deeper profile calls for more collar-to-cutter clearance.
