Schmidt Cove Profile Knife — WM94

Description

The Schmidt WM94 is a finished M2 high-speed steel cove profile knife ground to 1-3/8″ H × 1-15/16″ W × 5/16″ thick. Cove moulding — a concave curved profile — is one of the most frequently used profiles in traditional and transitional millwork, appearing in crown cornice assemblies, cabinet face-frame fillets, furniture base transitions, and stand-alone cove stock. At 1-3/8 inches of profile height, the WM94 produces a small-to-medium cove suited to standard architectural trim and millwork applications. Available in Corrugated 60° back for use in 60° corrugated moulder heads and in Williams & Hussey back format for W&H moulder and matcher machines. Multiple profiles in the Schmidt cove series share similar heights — verify the specific concave radius for the WM94 from the Schmidt catalog before production. Ground M2 HSS installs directly in the head for consistent cove geometry run to run.
