Schmidt Cove Profile Knife — WM84

Description

The Schmidt WM84 is a finished M2 high-speed steel cove profile knife ground to 2-3/4″ H × 1-5/8″ W × 5/16″ thick. Cove moulding — a concave curved profile — is one of the most frequently used profiles in traditional and transitional millwork, appearing in crown cornice assemblies, cabinet face-frame fillets, furniture base transitions, and stand-alone cove stock. At 2-3/4 inches of profile height, the WM84 produces a medium-to-large cove suited to standard architectural trim and millwork applications. Available in Corrugated 60° back for use in 60° corrugated moulder heads and in Williams & Hussey back format for W&H moulder and matcher machines. Multiple profiles in the Schmidt cove series share similar heights — verify the specific concave radius for the WM84 from the Schmidt catalog before production. Ground M2 HSS installs directly in the head for consistent cove geometry run to run.
