160mm Adjustable Groover, 16mm-30mm Range, 1-1/4 in. Bore

Description

The IG666 is a 160mm diameter adjustable groover with 1-1/4 in. bore that cuts variable-width grooves from 16mm to 30mm without a tool change. The 16mm-30mm range addresses wide dado and housing joint work — structural shelf dadoes in case goods, wide housing joints for interior stairs and casework, large spline slots in glue-up panel assembly, and track dadoes for heavy-duty sliding panel hardware. At the upper end of the range (30mm), the IG666 produces grooves equivalent to roughly 1-3/16 in. wide, covering the full range of common wide dado work in solid wood and panel materials. Adjustable groove width eliminates the need to stack fixed-width cutter sets for each width in the 16-30mm range. The IG666 range overlaps with the IG664 in the mid-width zone; the IG666 extends coverage into the wider 30mm maximum. Confirm spindle speed is appropriate for 160mm diameter at the target RPM and that the groove width setting is locked before production.
