The MH791 is a 9 in. OD, 3/4 in. wide, 1-1/4 in. bore, 6-pocket corrugated back cope head with 25° hook — the 6-knife version of the largest standard Schmidt coping disc. Six pockets at 9 in. OD produces the highest cutting frequency of any head in the Schmidt cope disc range, combining maximum peripheral speed from the large OD with the highest knife count for the finest end-grain cope surface quality and the highest achievable feed rate in high-volume production door manufacturing. The 25° hook angle manages chip clearance at the peripheral speeds produced by a 9 in. OD head. At 9 in. OD and 6 knives, the total head mass and the balance requirements are at their maximum in this product line — knife sets must be precisely weight-matched and the assembled head must be confirmed in balance before mounting on the spindle.
