Description

The AC114A is a ball bearing rub collar — 85mm outer diameter, 1-1/4-inch bore — for 1-1/4-inch bore shaper spindles where the cutter stack or application requires a metric 85mm guide diameter. Metric OD rub collars are used with European-designed tooling (imported profile cutters, limiter sets, and similar) that specifies guide collar diameters in millimeters rather than fractional inches. 85mm is approximately 3.346 inches — close to but not interchangeable with the 3-1/4-inch (AC114) or 3-3/8-inch step.
