8” x 60mm Bore 180 Grit Diamond Grinding Wheel — Radius Face, Weinig Rondamat

Description

The GW305 is a copper-bonded diamond grinding wheel for Weinig Rondamat moulder grinders, with a radius face profile for grinding curved carbide tool forms. Where the GW300 (square face) grinds flat carbide surfaces, the GW305 radius face follows concave profile curves — used for producing or refurbishing curved carbide profile shapes on insert cutters and carbide-tipped tooling. The 8mm radius on the wheel face is 3/32” wide, sized for the Weinig 60mm bore metric wheel format. Diamond abrasive at 180 grit produces a smooth, consistent finish on carbide without the loading and glazing that occurs with conventional abrasive on carbide surfaces. Copper bond provides stable diamond retention under the grinding loads typical of carbide work on the Rondamat platform. For a square face diamond wheel on the same machine platform, see GW300.
