The ID553T is the 1-13/16-inch bore tongue cutter in the insert-style flooring series — machines the tongue element of the hardwood T&G flooring joint on equipment with 1-13/16-inch spindle bore. This bore size is used on select Diehl and compatible four-sided moulder platforms; ID553T provides the correct bore fitment for these machines with the same 5-1/2-inch OD and 30mm cutting geometry as the rest of the 55X flooring series. Insert-style carbide design allows in-field insert maintenance without machine downtime. Runs paired with ID553G (groove cutter, same bore) for a complete flooring profile.
