4” x 1-1/4” Bore S-Alloy 3-Wing Stile & Rail Set

The WC215EE is a stellite-alloy (S-alloy) tipped 3-wing stile and rail cutter set for shaper production of cabinet and furniture door frames — 4-inch diameter, 1-1/4-inch bore. S-alloy (cobalt-chromium stellite alloy) tipping offers a different wear profile than carbide: stellite holds its edge exceptionally well at elevated cutting temperatures and provides a very keen, smooth edge that benefits the inside profile quality on stile and rail work. For production shops running continuous door frame cycles in hardwood, S-alloy tipped tooling can reduce the frequency of sharpening compared to carbide in certain high-heat scenarios.
