Description
The WC217C is a carbide-tipped 3-wing stile and rail cutter set — 4-inch diameter, 1-1/4-inch bore — for shaper production of standard cabinet and furniture door frames. The cope-and-stick joint produced by this set allows rails to interlock with stiles at the door frame corner: the stick profile machines the inside edge of the stile, and the coped end of the rail fits precisely into that profile. WC217C offers the standard profile geometry in the WC215-217 series; verify the specific profile configuration (ovolo, ogee, or other edge treatment) with Schmidt and compare against WC215C if both appear in your inventory. Carbide tipping handles production hardwood door frame work. For the eased edge variant, see WC217EEC. For 6-piece sets by door thickness, see WC220C and WC222C.
