3/4” Hollow Mortising Chisel

Description

The HMC750C is a 3/4-inch hollow square mortising chisel — the largest standard size in the Schmidt hollow mortising range. The 3/4-inch mortise is used for structural joints in heavy furniture, large-scale door and window frame construction, staircase components, and architectural millwork requiring maximum tenon cross-section and glue surface for joint strength. At this size, the hollow chisel mortising machine must have sufficient quill travel, motor power, and chisel-holder rigidity to drive the 3/4-inch chisel cleanly through hardwood.
