11 x 4mm x 15 Degree Solid Carbide Circular Backout Insert

Description

The ID50010 is a solid carbide circular backout insert — 11mm diameter, 4.0mm wide, 15-degree bevel angle — for use in the solid carbide circular backout holder system (see ID50010S for the holder screw). In flooring production, circular backout inserts are positioned on the cutter assembly to machine a relief cut on the underside of the tongue or groove profile. This relief removes material from the back of the flooring edge, reducing friction during installation and preventing the flooring from rocking on high spots in the subfloor. The circular geometry allows the insert to be repositioned by rotating it when one edge dulls — providing multiple fresh cutting edges per insert before replacement. The 15-degree bevel angle and 11mm x 4.0mm dimensions are specific to this insert system. Match the holder configuration (ID50001 single or ID50002 double) with the required number of inserts for your cutter assembly. Replacement screws: ID50010S.
