Description

The HMC250S is a complete 1/4-inch hollow mortising chisel and bit set — the hollow square chisel and matched drill bit supplied together for immediate setup on a hollow chisel mortising machine. The set eliminates the need to separately source and match chisel and bit sizes: the bit and chisel are manufactured to the correct clearance so the bit clears the chisel interior cleanly under operation without binding. The 1/4-inch size is used for fine furniture joinery, face frame construction, and applications requiring a small, precise square mortise in solid wood. For shops equipping a new mortising machine or replacing a worn set, the complete HMC250S provides everything needed to begin cutting 1/4-inch mortises.
