The CT400A is a 2-inch carbide-tipped corrugated-back knife bar, 1-1/4 wide and 5/16 thick. Pre-cut to 2 inches, this bar is sized for individual knife blanks or specific machine head widths where a 2-inch piece matches the required knife length directly — eliminating the cutting step required when purchasing full 25-inch bar stock. The 60° corrugated back interlocks with corrugated-back heads for positive knife retention. Carbide tipping extends edge life in hardwood, abrasive material, and high-volume production runs. Diamond grinding required for resharpening. 5/16 thickness and 1-1/4 knife height must match head slot specification.
