4-3/16 in. HSK Power-Lock Insert Flooring Head, 2-Wing — Groove Side (ID554)

Description

The ID554GPL is a 4-3/16 in. diameter, 2-wing insert flooring head on an HSK Power-Lock adapter for today’s HSK-spindle moulders, cutting the groove edge of tongue-and-groove hardwood flooring. It runs Schmidt’s industry-standard IC240G groove inserts in a face-down operation; inserts are single-sided and non-reversible. With a 93 mm minor diameter and two-wing geometry, the head is balanced to G2.5 at 12,000 RPM for smooth, chatter-free finishes on high-speed HSK moulders. Micro-bevel inserts (IC240GMB) are available for face-sensitive prefinished or engineered flooring. Custom diameters and wing counts can be made to order. Ground and made in the USA. Sold as the head only — IC240G inserts and the IC240GIB gib are ordered separately; pairs with the ID554TPL tongue head to complete the flooring joint set.
