Description
Larger-diameter scoring blades at 150mm accommodate panel saws where the scoring arbor geometry requires a larger blade diameter than the 120mm or 125mm class. This 24-tooth scoring blade on a 5/8 in. bore pre-scores the bottom face of panels ahead of the main blade, preventing chip-out and delamination in melamine-faced board, veneer-faced plywood, and laminate-surfaced sheet goods at the bottom face exit point. The 150mm diameter provides greater cutting depth in the scoring pass than smaller scoring blades — relevant on saws where the scoring arbor position requires a larger blade radius to reach the bottom face of the panel at the correct position relative to the main blade path. At 24 teeth on 150mm, the blade provides the tooth density appropriate for clean, consistent scoring in brittle laminate materials at panel saw feed rates. The 5/8 in. bore fits North American scoring arbor configurations on panel saws spec’d for this blade size. Carbide tips maintain consistent scoring geometry through production-volume panel saw use in melamine and laminate panel processing. Being a conical scoring blade, it cuts an adjustable score width of 4.3–5.3mm — raise or lower the blade to match the main-blade kerf exactly.
