Description
Cutting double-face laminated panel without chip-out on either face is the specific problem this blade solves. The 80-tooth ATB design on a 10 in., 5/8 in. bore blade is configured for the demanding requirements of double-face melamine and high-pressure laminate sheet goods — materials where a chip on the bottom face is just as unacceptable as one on the top. Alternate top bevel geometry at 80 teeth keeps the kerf narrow between adjacent tooth contacts, shearing the brittle laminate surface cleanly on entry and exit without fracturing the resin-saturated face. High tooth count at 10 in. means the arc between tooth tips is tight enough to prevent micro-fracture in the laminate at the cut line. A laser-cut low noise plate controls resonance and vibration that cause surface irregularities in delicate laminated materials during fine crosscutting. Carbide tips are precisely ground to consistent ATB angles and hold their geometry through extended laminate cutting cycles. In cabinet shops, countertop fabricators, and millwork operations cutting melamine cabinet boxes, laminate-faced shelving, and HPL surfaced panels, this blade delivers chip-free edges on both faces in a single pass.
