Centrolock 230mm Replacement Knife — HSS or Carbide

Description

The SCH-QC-CEN-230mm-S is a 230mm replacement knife for Centrolock-style constant-diameter planer and moulder heads for machines with 230mm planing width capacity. At 230mm, this is a wide-bed production knife — fitting larger Weinig Hydromat, Powermat, and compatible moulder and planer heads where the full 230mm knife span covers the material width in a single pass. Centrolock’s no-reset advantage is especially valuable at wider knife dimensions where re-setting a conventional planer head accurately is more time-consuming and the calibration payback is higher. Available in HSS for softwood production and carbide for hardwood or abrasive material runs. Carbide is increasingly favored at wider knife dimensions where the number of knife changes per day at production volumes makes extended edge life economically significant. HSS remains the default for softwood-dominated moulding where in-house grinding is established and knife replacement frequency is manageable. Select material at checkout.
