Schmidt Bead & Bullnose Profile Knife — BN109

Description

The Schmidt BN109 is a finished M2 high-speed steel bullnose profile knife dimensioned at 2-1/4″ H × 5/16″ W × 3/4″ thick. The 3/4-inch body thickness accommodates the large convex profile radius required for a full 2-1/4-inch height bullnose — a profile used on stair treads, window stool edges, thick countertop edges, and architectural detail millwork where a substantial convex curve is the design intent. Available in Corrugated 60° back for 60° corrugated heads and Williams & Hussey back format for W&H moulder equipment. M2 molybdenum HSS provides the edge retention needed in the hard, long-running cuts characteristic of thick-body bullnose profiling. Select back type to match the installed machine head.
