The INKS220 provides a box of 10 solid carbide 20 x 12 x 1.5mm reversible knife inserts for Schmidt indexable insert tooling heads. At 20mm length, this knife size is suited to insert heads with larger insert seats in profiling, surfacing, and material removal applications where a longer cutting edge is required to cover the cut width in a single pass. Reversible knife inserts double the effective cutting edge life per insert — flip the knife when the first edge wears to expose a second fresh edge before the insert is retired. The 1.5mm thickness is consistent with the INKS215 and INKS230 series, but length-specific to the INKS220; confirm head body insert seat dimensions before ordering. Sold in boxes of 10 for production shops maintaining consistent stock of insert replacements at the machine.
