Description

The INKS415S is the replacement insert screw for INKS415-series 15 x 15 x 2.5mm reversible carbide inserts. Insert screws in indexable tooling are high-cycle fasteners — in production shops running frequent insert rotations, the screw’s Torx socket and thread can wear enough to impair consistent clamping torque, making periodic screw replacement part of proper insert head maintenance. A loose or damaged insert screw allows the carbide insert to shift in the seat during cutting, resulting in poor surface quality, accelerated insert wear, and potential safety risk from insert ejection. The INKS415S screw is designed for the insert seat thread and clamp geometry of heads accepting INKS415 inserts. Maintaining spare INKS415S screws at the machine eliminates delays when screw replacement becomes necessary mid-production. Use with T20 Torx wrench (INKS415TW).
