125mm x 50mm Stackable Surfacing Head, 40mm Bore

Description

The IS1255 is a 125mm OD, 50mm wide stackable surfacing head with 40mm bore for European spindle moulders and metric-spindle production shapers. The 50mm body width is the wider option in the IS125x stackable surfacing head series, providing greater working width per head compared to the IS1253 (30mm). Stacking multiple IS1255 heads — or combining IS1255 and IS1253 heads — allows the operator to build the total surfacing width required for the material being processed, covering a range of working widths from a modest inventory of heads. The IS1255 produces a flat, clean surfaced face on solid wood, glue-up panels, and structural timber components. The 40mm bore fits metric spindles common in European-origin spindle moulders and wide-table surfacing machines. IS1265 gibs are the replacement clamping components for 50mm IS125x heads. Confirm spindle length and total stacked width capacity before building a multi-head stack.
