Description

The IS58100 is a 100mm diameter rebating cutter with 50mm body width and 1-1/4 in. bore for production shapers and European spindle moulders. The 100mm OD provides greater depth-of-cut than the IS58085, allowing the IS58100 to produce deeper rabbets and stepped profiles in solid wood, MDF, and panel materials — glazing rebates in exterior window frames, deep door panel rebates, and stepped shoulder profiles in structural millwork where the 85mm head lacks sufficient cutting radius. The 50mm body width is the standard European spindle moulder dimension for stackable rebating heads; multiple IS58 heads can be ganged on the spindle for composite rebate profiles. At 1-1/4 in. bore, the IS58100 fits standard production shaper spindles. IS58-series heads use IS58201 gibs (Gib-80) as the insert clamping component — confirm gib quantity needed for the rebate depth being cut.
