Description
The GW321 is a fine 220 grit copper-bonded diamond grinding wheel for carbide tooling profiling on the Weinig Rondamat platform. At 220 grit, GW321 is a finishing wheel — used after coarser diamond wheels (GW300, GW305) have established the profile form, the 220 grit produces a finer surface finish on carbide that reduces subsequent hand-lapping and polishing. The 4mm wheel width with 2mm radius face (R100 geometry) provides a defined curved contact edge for following concave carbide profile forms. 60mm bore fits the Weinig Rondamat metric wheel arbor. Diamond abrasive grinds carbide without loading or glazing — vitrified aluminum oxide is ineffective on carbide and should not be used as a substitute. For an 8” x 60mm 220 grit diamond wheel with narrower 1/16” radius configuration and hub, see GW322. For 180 grit diamond at the same diameter, see GW300 (square) and GW305 (radius).
