Description

The MH4622A is a 137mm OD, 150mm cut length, 1-13/16 in. bore, 2-pocket corrugated back knife head with 22° hook for metric-specification industrial production moulders. The 150mm knife seat handles tall architectural profiles in 2-pocket balanced cutting: full crown moulding, large door casing, and tall furniture profiles where the 100mm MH4622 does not provide sufficient profile coverage. The 22° hook provides chip clearance at 150mm knife exposure on the 137mm metric head standard. At 150mm CEL in a 2-pocket head, knife projection is substantial — confirm that knife grinding, weight, and projection fall within the safe parameters for the head before operating. The MH462A is the 4-pocket equivalent for improved surface finish. The MH4632 (180mm) extends coverage to taller profiles within the 2-pocket metric series. The 1-13/16 in. bore corresponds to the industrial spindle specification for 137mm metric moulder equipment. Weight-match knives before mounting. Knives sold separately.
