The MH442M is a 4-13/16 in. OD, 2-1/4 in. cut length, 40mm bore, 4-pocket corrugated back moulder head with 15° hook — the metric bore version of the MH442 for production moulders with European 40mm spindle specifications. Identical to the MH442 in OD, CEL, hook angle, and knife pocket geometry, the MH442M provides the correct metric bore fit for European-origin moulder equipment where inch-bore heads cannot achieve proper spindle fit. The 4-pocket design delivers improved surface finish and feed rate over 2-pocket designs at the 2-1/4 in. CEL on metric-spindle machines running narrow decorative and trim moulding profiles. The 15° hook angle suits hardwood moulding on European equipment running dense-species profiles. Confirm the spindle is nominally 40mm and verify actual bore tolerance before ordering. The MH4422M is the 2-pocket metric equivalent. Knives sold separately.
