The MH4492 is a 4-13/16 in. OD, 9 in. cut length, 1-1/2 in. bore, 2-pocket corrugated back moulder head with 15° hook — the maximum CEL in the MH44xx 2-pocket series. The 9 in. knife seat provides the widest single-pass profile coverage in the 2-pocket range, suited to heavy industrial wide-bed moulding operations: extra-tall panel mouldings, very wide architectural elements, full-height door stile assemblies, and built-up production millwork where even an 8 in. head provides insufficient coverage. At 9 in. CEL on a 4-13/16 in. OD head, knife exposure and knife mass are at their maximum for this series. Safe operation demands matched knife sets ground to the same profile and weight within tight tolerance, confirmed head balance, and verification that the machine and head manufacturer’s maximum safe speed is not exceeded. The 15° hook maintains surface quality on hardwood at maximum CEL. This head requires industrial-grade moulder equipment with appropriate safety guards. Knives sold separately.
