The MH106PD is a 4 in. OD, 6 in. cut length, 1-1/4 in. bore, 4-pocket dual-angle corrugated back knife head with 12° and 20° hook angle seats — the maximum CEL in the MH10xPD dual-angle series. The 6 in. knife seat at dual-angle 4-pocket construction provides the greatest profile coverage available in this head design: extra-tall crown, full-height entablature, and large decorative millwork profiles in both hardwood and softwood. The 12° seats address hardwood tearout reduction while the 20° seats serve softwood chip clearance, allowing both material types to run in the same head at maximum profile height. At 6 in. CEL with four knives, this head carries the highest knife mass in the series — precise weight matching, careful profile grinding, and balance verification are non-negotiable before operating at production speed.
