Description

The MH100P6 is a 4 in. OD, 2 in. cut length, 1-1/4 in. bore, 4-pocket corrugated back knife head with 20° hook angle. Four-pocket construction doubles the knife count versus 2-pocket heads at the same OD and CEL — producing more cutting engagements per revolution, which improves surface finish quality and allows higher feed rates at the same spindle speed. The MH100P6’s 4-pocket design suits production moulding lines running continuous architectural trim, cabinet components, and furniture mouldings where surface quality and feed rate both matter. The 2 in. CEL covers small casing profiles, bead moulding, and moderate chair rail profiles. Corrugated back knife retention locks straight-back profile knives positively in the seat pockets, maintaining profile accuracy under the higher knife loading that 4-pocket geometry delivers. The 20° hook angle supports production softwood and mixed-species moulding. In the MH10xP6 series (4-pocket single angle), MH100P6 is the 2 in. CEL body. Knives sold separately.
