The MH205P6 is a 4 in. OD, 5 in. cut length, 1-1/4 in. bore, 2-pocket corrugated back knife head with 20° hook angle — one of the tallest CEL options in the MH20xP6 2-pocket series. The 5 in. knife seat covers the tallest practical architectural moulding profiles for a 4 in. OD head: large crown returns, full-height colonial casing profiles, and tall decorative millwork components cut in a single moulder pass without overlapping runs. Corrugated back knife retention maintains consistent profile geometry even with the extended knife exposure that a 5 in. CEL requires. At 5 in. CEL on a 4 in. OD head, knife projection is substantial — confirm that knife grinding, balance, and projection fall within the safe operating parameters for the moulder speed being used. The 20° hook angle provides chip clearance appropriate for softwood moulding. The MH206P6 (6 in.) is the maximum CEL in the series for profiles requiring even greater coverage.
