The MH204P6 is a 4 in. OD, 4 in. cut length, 1-1/4 in. bore, 2-pocket corrugated back knife head with 20° hook angle. The 4 in. knife seat accommodates tall moulding profiles — full crown moulding, large door and window casing, built-up base profiles, and architectural millwork components where the profile height reaches the practical limit of a 4 in. OD head. Corrugated back knife retention locks straight-back profile knives in the precision-machined seat pockets, maintaining consistent profile geometry across production runs without knife creep. The 20° hook angle supports efficient chip evacuation in softwood and pine moulding. At 4 in. cut length the MH204P6 approaches the upper range for a 4 in. OD corrugated head — ensure knife projection does not exceed safe limits for the head diameter and speed. In the MH20xP6 series, the MH204P6 suits profiles too tall for the 3 in. MH203P6.
