Description

The AC125 is a ball bearing rub collar — 125mm outer diameter, 1-1/4-inch bore, weight-relieved design — for 1-1/4-inch bore shaper spindles where European-designed tooling specifies a 125mm guide collar. At 125mm (approximately 4.921 inches), this is the largest-diameter collar in the Schmidt rub collar lineup. The weight-relieved design reduces the collar’s rotational mass at this diameter, limiting the centrifugal forces and bearing loads generated at larger OD. Metric OD collars are required with European profile cutter systems (German, Austrian, and Nordic manufacturers) that specify guide collar sizes in millimeters.
